Objective: Generate awareness & excitement around a leading entertainment brand’s global festive season campaign “From our Family to Yours”, which is in it’s second year. This was an all-encompassing campaign that covered various lines of their business and included a local angle this year.
This year’s Christmas advert was agaian an animated short, but used local singer Lloyiso as the vocalist for the localised version of the theme song Love Runs Deeper.
Locally, the campaign made use of a diverse range of social media influencers to carry the message of a blissful festive season from their homes to audiences. Roxy Burger, Olwethu Leshabane, Donovan Goliath, and Jennifer Bala and their families were tasked with creating content using short Instagram videos to convey good wishes, unbox products, make gingerbread houses and share their favourite festive memory.
